  • 4 years of College Preparatory Mathematics

  • Minimum Cumulative GPA = 2.8
  • SAT I or ACT
  • 3 of the SAT II Subject Tests - Mandatory: Writing and Mathematics IC or IIC AND 1 test on 1 of the following areas: English Literature, Foreign Language, Science, or Social Studies

Outstanding Achievement Certificate of Graduation

  • MESA Schools Program Participation and Leadership
  • 4 years of College Preparatory Mathematics
  • 4 years of College Preparatory English
  • Chemistry AND Physics
  • Leadership Participation
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA = 3.3
  • SAT I or ACT
  • 3 of the SAT II Subject Tests - Mandatory: Writing and Mathematics IC or IIC AND 1 test on 1 of the following areas: English Literature, Foreign Language, Science, or Social Studies

Graduation Appeals/MESA Advisor Written Recommendations

The MESA Center will strictly follow the graduation requirements listed above when determining who is eligible for MESA Graduation. Only MESA Advisors appeals may be submitted in the event a student does not meet the graduation requirements. The MESA Advisor may submit a written student recommendation letter to appeal any unfavorable decision. The MESA Advisor must explain why the student should be allowed to graduate from the MESA Program. Late appeals will not be accepted. No exceptions.
